As Baby becomes stronger the exercises become even more challenging. This stage further builds on the foundations learnt in the previous term.
Your baby will also start losing those primitive reflexes, and therefore their movements become more coordinated and intentional. The primary focus of this term is crawling, sitting transitions and dynamic sitting.
Main Learning Objectives

Learn how to safely transition baby from sitting to tummy time and back again.

During these months baby is on the move. Learn about the 6 types of crawling and how to promote the 4-point kneeling position.

A step up from the 3-6month group, we start truly challenging your babies’ core muscles through utilising different surfaces.

Strengthen up your babies’ arms, important for the tummy time position and maintaining the crawling position. Also a foundation for pulling into standing.

The fibres that connect the two hemispheres of the brain. This is important for communication between the sides of the body necessary for coordination.

A step up from grasping, being able to handle objects of different sizes.

Strengthening the lower limbs which is important for standing and walking.

Playing in different positions to strengthen the hips and lower limbs important for being able to sit to stand independently.
