Our final term in the series! By now your baby has developed the core and lower limb strength to be up on their feet! We continue by providing the tools to increase your babies’ independence.
You will love watching how your baby interacts with their classmates enhancing their social and emotional development.
Main Learning Objectives

A combination of lower limb strength and confidence is key to achieving this skill.

Baby’s ability to sense their limbs and movement in space. This enables baby to crawl, walk, grasp etc without looking directly at their limbs.

Developing the muscles in baby’s forearm and hands to assist with grasping and pulling to standing.

Development of the quad muscles to assist with standing transitions without the use of furniture.

Independently being able to transfer from sitting to standing and back again.

The precursor to walking independently. Baby starts with using furniture to move around and explore their world.

Introducing baby to different sensations through movement on various surfaces.

The FINAL objective. On average baby begins walking between 8 and 18 months. Help your baby take a step in the right direction.
